Paying homage to the evolution of the brand, these special designs recall the iconic models of the past with their names heat-stamped on the textured and carved strap. The strap and bezel of each model in the line are made with bio-based resins.

Strap that recalls the historical evolution of G-SHOCK

The milestones marked by the G-SHOCK brand along its historical evolution since the first model on the scene in 1983 are expressed in the design of the strap. Inspired by stone monuments that stand the test of time, iconic designs from G-SHOCK's history are stamped onto the strap along with their launch years via a hot stamping process that imprints lettering onto the strap with a textural and carved.

Bio-based resins

The bezel and band are made with bio-based resins produced using renewable organic sources, such as castor oil and corn plants, which help reduce the environmental impact of this watch.

Special packaging: the personification of eco-awareness

Made from recycled materials, the specially designed eco-conscious packaging is shaped like the G-SHOCK G. Recycled paper and vegetable ink are used for the outer box. The DWE-5657RE, equipped with an interchangeable bezel, is accompanied by a special box made with a pulpy component called bagasse (fiber obtained from sugar cane), a material used as a substitute for wood, and printed with vegetable ink.
